Baby Booster Seat Recalled due to ‘serious’ risk of harm – Baby Product Recall

Baby Booster Seat Recall:

A baby booster seat which poses a ‘serious’ risk of harm, has been recalled.

The Venture Three Stage Booster Seat, is designed to elevate babies and small children to the height of a table, but the product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 16120.

The locking mechanism on the restraining and chair attachment system is ‘inadequate’ which could cause a child to fall off the seat and suffer injury.

The seat is aimed at children between six and 36 months with a maximum weight of 15kg. It is designed to be fitted to a chair, but the fittings are too dangerous.

The plastic packaging of the booster seat is also dangerous. It is too large and too thin without perforation. This means that if a child is left to play with it, the plastic may cover the nose and mouth causing suffocation.

Parents should not purchase this product, which is still available to be online.

The batch number/barcode is 50700461909323 and the number of model Mini Booster Seat.
