Booking Now and Not To Be Missed: The Light Garden at the Tobacco Factory Theatre

As part of the World Stage Festival, award-winning film maker Rachel Davies is bringing her delightful The Light Garden to the Tobacco Factory Theatre.

The interactive light and sound installation is a cinematic camping experience aimed at children between 18 months and five years.

A guide leads them by way of animated pebbles to cinematic tents and smouldering ‘campfire’. a magical cave and beanbag hillside lie waiting complete with crawling ladybirds and illuminated switches that have the power to control the weather over the campsite. Over the 20 minutes of the experience a canopy of sky shifts from dawn to dusk, ending with a mesmerising full moon through which dancers can be seen.

Creator Rachel Davies said: “We’re thrilled that The Light Garden will be part of the World Stage Festival. We’re looking forward to sharing this exciting experience with the young children of Bristol and their families.”
