Bristol Send Ofsted and CQC Inspection
Bristol Send Ofsted Inspection:
Ofsted and the CQC are in Bristol to inspect the area’s effectiveness at identifying children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities as well as its ability to meet needs and improve outcomes.
The joint inspection will be taking place from Monday 30 September until Friday 04 October 2019. During this time, the inspection will look at how effectively Bristol identifies the needs of those with Send, meets the needs of those with Send as well as taking into considering the views of children, young people, parents and carers.

An open meeting will be taking place for parents and carers on Tuesday 01 October at City Hall from 11.30am to 1pm (meet in the reception area of City Hall at 11.30am).

Inspectors will be spending the week listening to children, young people, parents and carers involved process after the Send reforms of September 2014 . They will also be looking at records, speaking to area officers and schools.
