Flying Tiger Copenhagen Recalls Soft Crayons

Packets of Soft Crayons from Flying Tiger Copenhagen, have been recalled because the cap on the crayons poses a choking hazard to young children.

The product was sold between 01 April to 16 May 2018, with the code 3005741. No incidents have been reported and the recall is a ‘preventative measure’.

The company says: ‘Flying Tiger Copenhagen continuously strives to maintain and improve the safety of our products and to ensure that our customers feel safe in purchasing our products.’

Customers are advised to stop using the product and keep out of reach of children. They say: ‘We encourage you to return the Crayons to their nearest Flying Tiger Copenhagen store for a full refund.

It is essential to us that our customers trust the quality and safety of our products. Consequently, we react as quickly as possible when we discover products that are not compliant with the legal regulations.’

Argos Ohio Sleeper recall

Argos is recalling their Ohio High Sleeper after a safety issue was identified with the supplied ladder.

Customers should stop using the ladder immediately and avoid using the bed without the ladder.

Customers have reported ladder rungs continuing to rotate after re-tightening and steps on the ladder coming off.

The bed was sold in white, grey and beech in sizes standard and shorty. The recall applies to all the colour options sold.

Argos say: ‘Stop using the ladder immediately, and avoid using the bed without the ladder. Please remove the ladder from the reach of children an dispose of it safely.’

A type of Squishies are being recalled because they pose a ‘serious’ choking and suffocation hazard.

The item number is 67887 and the Barcode is 5053944678878

The Slow Rising Scented Squishy may be mistaken for foodstuff  due to its shape, appearance and size, with the outer plastic packaging also being too thin and too large.

The unbranded product from China, does not comply with the requirements of the Food-imitating Products Directive and the Toy Safety Directive.
