Matthew Bourne’s must-see Cinderella will be at The Bristol Hippodrome in March this year.
The New Adventure’s production is set in London during WWII, following the story of Cinderella and her ‘prince’ RAF Pilot Harry.
The ballet is set to Prokofiev’s score and updated to the period of time it was composed in.
Cast includes Ashley Shaw, Cordelia Braithwaite, Dominic North and Liam Mower.
“Cinderella is one of my most heartfelt works and a personal favourite amongst my re-imagined classic stories.” Matthew Bourne says.
“I’m delighted to have brought together this cast of current star performers, experienced New Adventures veterans and exciting young talent. I’m thrilled to see another generation of Company dancers take on this beloved production”
New Adventures regular Lez Brotherston’s costumes and set backs the action, along with Surround Sound designed by Paul Groothuis.
Cinderella will be at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 20 – Saturday 24 March 2017.
