A new series of Muddlepuddle Farm stories written by Michael Morpurgo, is now available in bookstores.
There are two stories in each book, with each tale broken down into easily manageable chapters.
The text is also broken up by Shoo Rayner’s delightful illustrations.
These books are great for young readers looking for a fresh challenge to early independent reading.
Chopsy Baby’s Jen Smith says: “I have found these really useful for my dyslexic seven year old to read. The layout is helpful for keeping track of the words and the illustrations help her make sense and keep track of the storyline.
“Though they appear simple to read, there is enough challenging language for her to decode and read, but also build confidence with the words she is already familiar with.”
