One in Six UK Parents Lose their Children Abroad – Usually in the Swimming Pool

It’s a frightening brown trousers moment when you realise you have lost your child. It’s bad enough when it’s on home soil, but whilst on holiday in unfamiliar surroundings adds an extra scary edge to it.

According to a poll from Jetcost.co.uk of over 2000 UK parents, one in six have lost their children on holiday abroad.

The average length of time it took to find a lost child was four minutes, with the most common areas to lose them in wereĀ the swimming pool area, followed by at the beach, then busy shopping areas.
