Prince Ribbit by Jonathan Emmet – Review

A truly entertaining twist on fairy tales, ideal for children aged 4 – 6 years.

Canny ‘ordinary frog’ Prince Ribbit, has been casually listening into the stories of three princess siblings.

He fancies an upgrade in comfort and susses exactly how to gain this by manipulating the royal three at the end of the Princess and the Frog story.

Martha doesn’t buy the frog’s claims, setting out to prove to her family that the frog is a conniving little so-and-so.

But what they all need  to remember in this story is that just because it’s in a book doesn’t mean it’s true.

This is a really enjoyable story and definitely worthy of the bedtime bookself.
