Do You Search Your Children’s Rooms? Average Parent Snoops Twice A Week

 

Snooping parents are rummaging through the rooms of their teens twice a week in search of contraband.

According to a poll of 2839 parents of children between 12 and 17 years, 78 per cent admitted to the secret searching.

One in ten found alcohol, fags or drugs hidden in bedrooms. The most common hiding place was revealed to be shoeboxes under beds, amongst clothes in wardrobes and at the back of underwear drawers.

Web-blinds.com carried out the poll which found the biggest uncovered discovery was actually stashed treats such as sweets, chocolate and crisps. Busted.
