The Bristol Sleep Out to support Big Issue vendors:
- Registration is now open for the fundraising event
Bristol residents are being invited to sign up for a fundraising event to raise money and gain awareness of street homelessness for The Big Issue Foundation.
The Bristol Sleep Out, which takes place on Friday 11 October 2019, will see participants sleep in the grounds of Central Church Bristol.
The event will provide an insight it what it may be like to be street homeless as well as raise money for The Big Issue Foundation.
The event is organised by The Bristol Homeless Forum with registration for the event now open.
CEO of The Big Issue Foundation, Stephen Robertson said: “Big Issue vendors face the realities of poverty, exclusion and homelessness on a daily basis. The Bristol sleep out will raise vital funds to support our work to help change more lives for good.
“Please do join us on the night in the knowledge that each and every participant will be playing a part in creating positive social change and hope for the future.
“Whether you are coming alone, or with a friends or colleagues, it will be an eye-opening experience that will make a difference to the lives of Big Issue vendors.”
