Bristol Digital Advertising Display in Flyby Painting
The massive digital advertising board dominating the pavement and airspace on Bond Street South by a pedestrian crossing, has been paint splattered this week.
Red and yellow paint splodges now cover the black board with ‘Bristol Against Digital Advertising Screens’ – BADASS – painted at the bottom. The wording was removed quickly the following morning.
The sign caused controversy during its construction due to the size and scale and location next to a busy pedestrian crossing on a fast moving arterial road.
