Don’t look directly at them! One in three people in the UK already know what presents they are getting for Christmas because they have tracked them down.<\/p>\n
According to a poll by Insurastore.com, 37 per cent of adults have sneakily looked for their gifts, with eight in ten managing to find them.<\/p>\n
But these actions have caused 56 per cent to have regrets and the feeling that Christmas had been spoilt by their curiosity.<\/p>\n
Those children who can’t resist the temptation to look are doing themselves out of presents.<\/p>\n
A 53 per cent of parents who have had to hide their children\u2019s presents well cannot remember where they have put them all.<\/p>\n
Managing Director of\u00a0 Insurastore.com, Paul Maddicott said: \u2018\u2019Kids aside, it seems even adults have a fascination for what Father Christmas might have bought them and keeping surprises under wraps is a considerable challenge in any household.<\/p>\n
