But, medical studies have shown that BPA can affect the development of babies and young children, affecting their reproductive, neurological and immune systems.<\/p>\n<p>The chemical has been completely banned in Canada and steps to ban it in the US are being taken. Until now, only the leaching of certain amounts of the chemical was allowed in the UK, but a new EU ruling next year could ban the substance from baby bottles across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>BornFree products have always been 100% free from Phthalates, PVC and Bisphenol- A (BPA).<\/p>\n<p>Managing Director of BornFree, Dirk Voller says: \u201cBisphenol-A or BPA as it is more commonly know is a chemical widely used in making hard, clear plastic and is commonly found inside food and drink containers such as canned goods, cartons and until recently most notably baby bottles.
