\nCut the clutter, leave nothing unturned and if you can, have a smile on your face for even the toughest of tasks.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tackle big jobs first \u2013 clean the oven or shampoo the carpets.\u00a0 Tackling these big jobs is best when you are full of energy at the start of the process<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Defrost your fridge and freezer \u2013 this will allow you to thoroughly clean inside.\u00a0 It will also help make it more energy efficient<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 De-clutter \u2013 put away or even better, get rid of surplus everyday accessories or furnishings. It is fine to keep some memorabilia but be choosy or you will start to feel over-whelmed with clutter<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Find a place for everything \u2013 organise the memorabilia and items you want to keep so you will know where they are<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Start small \u2013 attack one room at a time, opening windows to let in fresh air<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Use eco-friendly products where possible \u2013 create a wonderful natural air freshener by mixing lemon juice and water in a spray bottle. Also, just placing a half a lemon in a dish can help freshen a room<\/p>\n
