A crying baby is the ultimate test of character for parents.<\/p>\n

Extreme crying due to colic or teething can affect the temper of sleep deprived parents badly.<\/p>\n

A total of 45 per cent of parents admit to struggling to comfort their baby’s crying, with one in three mums driven to the end of their tether.<\/p>\n

A 14 per cent even admitted to letting off steam such as by slamming doors.<\/p>\n

The research of 5,000 parents\u00a0 from Colief Infant Drops and UK charity Cry-Sis found that a quarter of all parents have had to take a break from their crying baby just to compose themselves.<\/p>\n

The tension caused by endlessly wailing infants also causes 14 per cent of couples to argue.<\/p>\n
