{"id":15754,"date":"2011-12-19T12:35:55","date_gmt":"2011-12-19T12:35:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/?p=15754"},"modified":"2011-12-19T12:35:55","modified_gmt":"2011-12-19T12:35:55","slug":"three-south-west-locations-to-benefit-from-department-for-transport-millions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/three-south-west-locations-to-benefit-from-department-for-transport-millions\/","title":{"rendered":"Three South West locations to benefit from Department for Transport millions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three South West areas will benefit from a share of \u00a3843m of investment as the Department for Transport \u00a0announces 21 local transport schemes will go-ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Bath will get \u00a311.7m towards park and ride site expansions and improvements to local bus stops.<\/p>\n<p>The rapid transit scheme at\u00a0Hengrove in Bristol including the city centre and Bristol Parkway will get \u00a351.1m.<\/p>\n<p>Transport improvements including access to the M5 junction at Weston Super Mare will get \u00a310.4m.<\/p>\n<p>Transport Secretary Justine Greening said: \u201cWe are investing in schemes that will provide better access to jobs and services, reduce congestion and enable more goods to move more easily around our country.
