Parents plagued with guilt about mistakes they make when raising children also harbour deep regrets about what they wished they had done differently.<\/p>\n
A study by MyMemory.com, researched the top regrets parents had about the way they had approached parenting.<\/p>\n
Around 1,872 parents with a children aged between 2-4 years, took part in the study with the final results showing:
\n1 Wish I\u2019d taken more photos of the baby- 63 per cent
\n2 \u00a0Wish I\u2019d not given the baby a dummy- 58\u00a0per cent
\n3 \u00a0Wish I\u2019d moved the baby into a separate room sooner- 51\u00a0per cent
\n4 Wish I\u2019d recorded more videos of the baby- 49\u00a0per cent
\n5 \u00a0Wish I\u2019d breastfed- 45\u00a0per cent
\n6 \u00a0Wish I\u2019d not succumbed to cries so easily- 42\u00a0per cent
\n7 \u00a0Wish I\u2019d not let my baby sleep in same bed as me- 37\u00a0per cent
\n8 \u00a0Wish I\u2019d not rewarded good behaviour with junk food- 36\u00a0per cent
\n9 Wish I\u2019d kept track of \u2018firsts\u2019 such as\u00a0first word, first steps- 32\u00a0per cent
