Weaning your baby can be a nightmare time. You don’t want them to choke and they don’t like what you offer. You don’t have time to rustle up a wonderfully organic puree from scratch and so you reach for a jar of baby food.<\/p>\n
If you feel bad about this you are not alone. According to research of 1,000 UK mothers, Cow & Gate found 21 per cent felt like a ‘bad mum’ when serving manufactured food.<\/p>\n
And, in addition to this, 39 per cent felt the ‘judgy pants’ being hoicked up by those watching them do so.<\/p>\n
Cow & Gate have just published Lifting the Lid on Baby Foods by Fiona Wilcock, examining the entire manufacturing process right through to a baby’s dinner time.<\/p>\n
