{"id":17712,"date":"2012-07-13T12:38:18","date_gmt":"2012-07-13T11:38:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/?p=17712"},"modified":"2018-07-02T13:54:53","modified_gmt":"2018-07-02T12:54:53","slug":"hurtwood-prize-for-young-filmakers-open-for-entries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/hurtwood-prize-for-young-filmakers-open-for-entries\/","title":{"rendered":"Hurtwood Prize for Young Filmakers open for entries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new film competition has been designed to give 16-21 year olds a kick start to a potential career in the creative industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Hurtwood Prize for Young Filmmakers is currently open for entries and closes on the 06 August 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Entrants are being challenged to shoot their own music video from one of four tracks by bands signed with Polydor.<\/p>\n<p>The bands include the \u00a0Maccabees, Spector, Lawson and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaur.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00a0judging panel will be made up of industry experts and the bands, who will choose 10 finalists to attend an intensive film workshop.
