Baby care products are being used by mums as part of their beauty regime to save money.<\/p>\n
A total of 95 per cent of parents told Asda that they used baby products even after their children no longer needed them.<\/p>\n
Talcum powder, though generally no longer recommended for use on babies, was the most popular baby product used by adults – 60 per cent.<\/p>\n
Baby oil clocked up a loyal 53 per cent of followers and 35 per cent of mums used baby shampoo.<\/p>\n
As many as 50 per cent of parents with children over the age of three said they still bought nappy cream to heal cuts, clear spots and to treat minor burns.<\/p>\n
Spokesperson for Asda, Ali Carswell said: \u201cBaby products are known to be gentler on skin \u2013 so if you suffer from allergies, they can be a great alternative option to medicated products.\u00a0 These survey results show that mums are loving their babies\u2019 toiletries, with some buying them purely for their own use as their little ones grow from tot to toddler.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
