The secrets hygiene habits of mums in the South West have been exposed in a new survey.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The study from sterilizing experts Milton, dug deep to get the dirty on the personal hygiene of mothers and babies and their attitudes to nappies. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When it comes to eco matters, a huge 74 per cent of mums in the South West never use real nappies. Of the ones that did 44 per cent did so because they were considered more eco-friendly, 29 per cent because they are cheaper, and 21 per cent because their own mother used them.

\nOne of the biggest reasons given for not using them is because they are considered unhygienic and hard to clean. A good 38 per cent said they would make the switch to real nappies if they were easier to clean.<\/span><\/p>\n
