Fake baby goods are posing a real danger to families with their substandard production and failure to comply with safety requirements.<\/p>\n
One such brand whose high quality products have become victim to counterfeiters are Ergobaby.<\/p>\n

The baby industry has gone to great lengths to ensure the highest safety standards for all baby products but these unscrupulous websites are selling products to unwitting consumers that could pose a real risk to their babies.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately some of these websites look very plausible but we have some easy checks for consumers to follow when making their purchase to give them the confidence that the product they are buying is an authentic, genuine Ergobaby carrier.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ergobaby has been calling for the Trading Standards Institute to close down websites known to be selling fake carriers.<\/p>\n
The Ergobaby carrier features excellent comfort and ergonomic design for both carrier and baby. The brand was founded in the US in 2003 and its popularity has soared.<\/p>\n
The price for the Ergobaby carrier is around the \u00a3100 mark, with most suppliers being independent traders in high quality baby goods.<\/p>\n
This has prompted parents to reach for the internet in a bid to find competitive prices.<\/p>\n
Because of this more than 60 sites have so far been identified by Ergobaby as selling poor quality fake copies.<\/p>\n
Ergobaby has the following advice for parents and carers looking to purchase a genuine carrier.<\/p>\n
1. Make sure you purchase your Ergobaby carrier from an authorised Ergobaby stockist. All Ergobaby\u2019s UK stockists will display an authorised stockist logo.
