Sometimes it’s hard to recognise which baby product is plain gimmickry and which are useful.<\/p>\n

Sock Ons has managed to create a range of products which are both fabulous and useful. Eye catching and practicality are two things quite hard to successfully marry together with baby products.<\/p>\n

Most people who have tried to keep socks on a baby will know how hard this simple task can be. We know Sock Ons are great, we’ve even reviewed them before.<\/p>\n

For those who are new to the product, sock ons are stretchy bits of fabric which go over the outside of baby socks like spats and keep them on their feet.<\/p>\n

These simple things work really well, keeping socks on babies feet no matter how much they wriggle their toes.<\/p>\n

When it comes to washing them, it’s a good idea to pop them inside a sock as these things will be tiny when lost amongst a huge pile of laundry.<\/p>\n

Moving on from the classic Sock Ons range, the product is now available in a collection of brilliantly bright colours, making this more than a practical item, it’s also a great piece of design.<\/p>\n

Hannah Says: “Josh is always losing socks. Or more likely he is always losing one of each pair. I can’t stand to put odd socks on. I was impressed with these nifty little things though. They kept his socks on his feet and I haven’t lost a sock since.”<\/p>\n

\"po\"But the Sock Ons brand have come much further than their simple origins. Absolutely ideal for the summer are Plod Ons, a grippy leg warmer type of garment designed to be work over the knees of crawling babies.<\/p>\n

While thick trousers are perfect in the winter, in this hot summer weather, shorts will be more comfortable. To protect those baby knees while crawling on floors, the Plod Ons are shaped for good fitting and grips have been applied to the outer knee cap area.<\/p>\n

Stacie Says: “I love the design with the cow print even more than the practicality of the item. They look great. The Plod Ons work well too. I have laminate flooring through the house. With trousers on Jazz kept slipping. There is a grip on the knee off these Plod Ons that stop him falling on his face. We’re very happy.”<\/p>\n

When it comes to moving around, there is an early crawling then cruising stage that babies go through requiring perhaps some grip and foot protection without the need for buying proper ‘first’ shoes.<\/p>\n

There are lots of different designs on the market and Mocc Ons are one of the better ones. They are suitable for children aged from six months to three years. The sole of the shoe is soft leather stitched onto a soft, stretchy cotton upper. They are particularly great for colder months and perfect for keeping toes and feet warm in prams.<\/p>\n

But for summer cruisers, they also allow little feet to begin balancing and walking, without restricting their feet with firmer leather or plastic shoes that at this stage they just won’t need.<\/p>\n

Sally Said: “These are so cute I love them. They have been great for Izzy who is cruising around furniture. She also likes to try walking when we go out to places like the park or the zoo. These are great because they are soft but protect her feet.”<\/p>\n

\n<\/a> \"purple\"<\/a>Bibs for dribbling babies have been around for a while. They are great for protecting the dribble of teething babies from creating sore necks and drenching the front of their clothes.<\/p>\n

The Dribble on, is made of soft cotton and terry towelling – adults will remember this from early natural nappies. The Dribble On version is soft and features two sets of poppers to allow it to grow as your baby grows.<\/p>\n

What is especially nice with Dribble Ons, is that as with the socks and even Plod Ons, there is a great range of colours and patterns making something quite mundane and practical become something much more fun.<\/p>\n

Cassie Says: “I love the colour of this bib. I looked online and really liked the whole range actually. It’s really bold and different. Harry is teething and always dribbling down the front of his t-shirts. I have been using a dribble type bib but the back was Velcro and kept catching in his hair and rubbing on his neck. I do like the popper design instead. There are also two spaced out so he won’t outgrow them quickly.”<\/p>\n
