It’s impossible for most working parents to take time away from their job to spend 100 per cent of their time family focused.<\/p>\n
In fact, alldayPA found that 36 per cent of parents would be interrupted by work issues during their Easter break this year.<\/p>\n
Some parents said they had resigned themselves to carrying out around 4 hours of unpaid work while away and many\u00a0having to take\u00a0work calls and respond to emails.<\/p>\n
They may be smart, but they’re not clever when it comes to encroaching upon valuable family time.<\/p>\n
Spokesperson for alldayPA, Sue Ratcliffe\u00a0said: \u201cSmart phones are an incredibly useful tool, but they blur the boundaries of work and home.\u00a0 Recent studies indicate that as a nation we\u2019re becoming more and more addicted to our smartphones and perhaps need to make a conscious effort to put them to one side, especially during holidays with our families.\u201d<\/p>\n
