Pop songs rather than lullabies are what a third of mums are now singing their child to sleep with.<\/p>\n

According to findings by Emma’s Diary, 31 per cent belt out a chart topper rather than traditional tunes.<\/p>\n

A 35 per cent of mums said they were simply more familiar with the lyrics of pop songs and 37 per cent sang songs they felt more connected to.<\/p>\n

The top ten most popular songs some parents bizarrely thought a good idea to sing to babies were found to be:<\/p>\n
