They don&#8217;t take up much space, particularly pocket kites, and they will always be on hand when the perfect weather conditions strike.<\/p>\n<p>Being outside, getting plenty of fresh air is so important for both adults and children, and kite flying is both fun and free.<\/p>\n<p>This year Pom-Bear is offering people the chance to win a special edition Pom-Bear kite for their family. There\u2019s one to be won every hour from May 18 &#8211; August 18.\u00a0 They have also come up with some important safety advice for first time flyers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pom-Bear\u2019s kite flying safety advice:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make sure that you and your family are safe while kite flying, make sure you follow Pom-Bear\u2019s kite flying safety tips:<br \/>\nNever fly your kite near traffic<br \/>\nAlways fly away from other people and remember to be considerate of others<br \/>\nNever chase a kite which you have lost control of<br \/>\nA medium wind level is best (5-25mph). Too low or high a wind make kite flying difficult. Never fly a kite in heavy rain or stormy weather<br \/>\nNever fly a kite near telephone or power lines. Make sure you and your children leave plenty of space and watch out for kite-eating trees!
