Bristol is a city bursting with iconic characters, features and buildings.<\/p>\n
In celebration of its best bits, artist\u00a0Nathan Wyburn is asking the public to vote for their favourite aspect of the city, which he will then commemorate in a piece of artwork.<\/p>\n
Wales based Nathan came to recognition after reaching the semi final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2011.<\/p>\n
He is now working with Cartridgesave.co.uk in an extension to their summer A Day In The Life. The social experiment concept\u00a0 involved Bristolians taking street photographs of the city during a 24 hour period.<\/p>\n
Nathan said: \u201cI love the idea of finding who or what embodies the word \u2018Bristol\u2019 in the eyes of the public and then creating a piece of artwork using so many diverse images of life in the city. It\u2019s perfect.<\/p>\n
\u201cA Day In The Life is a brilliant concept that captures everyday life and people and I\u2019ve greatly enjoyed looking at all the images that were created. They will last forever in their own right and also as part of my collage.”<\/p>\n
The 24 hour photography event back in August saw residents in the city take 1500 images of life in Bristol, ranging from rough sleepers, buskers, party goers and wildlife.<\/p>\n
