These are the kind of balloons that come with a small light inside of them.<\/p>\n<p>We managed to create much more interesting effects with balloons and LED lighting in our snow pit. You only need small lights underneath the balloons in the dark to get some lovely effects. In our snow pit, this was very reminiscent of the Ball of Ball scenes from Slava&#8217;s Snowshow.<\/p>\n<p>If you use partially inflated balloons, they are less likely to pop, which can be a real worry for young children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve tried using light up balloons with disappointing results.
