Bristol Cycle Path Network:<\/strong><\/p>\n

An online cycle planner is helping Bristol residents plan their journeys by bike around the city.<\/p>\n

Better By Bike, helps people map out the shortest and safety cycle route which includes the 75-mile cycle network across Bristol.<\/p>\n

The planner also features Bike pumps, cycle repair shops and BMX facilities.<\/p>\n

An additional 12 routes have been added, taking in cycle networks in Southmead, Filwood and Frome Valley.<\/p>\n

Cabinet Member for Transport at Bristol City Council,\u00a0Cllr Mhairi Threlfall says: \u201cBy early 2019 we will have completed 12 different cycle routes across the city \u2013 covering 122 miles of cycle routes, 75 miles of which are segregated. Some of the remaining schemes include the final link in Baldwin Street which is being finished as we speak and Prince Street is almost complete.<\/p>\n

\u201cCycling and walking are good options for some journeys which is why we will continue to make improvements for the benefit of our health and wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cycling improvements which will be finished early next year includes a mile and a half of segregated cycle lanes, 872 new or upgraded cycle stands and additional improvements to signage and crossings.<\/p>\n
