If you buy cheaply, you don’t have to worry should the camera be accidentally dropped in the fish pond or down the stairs. Digital will work out cheaper as you can plug straight into a computer or even telly to view results rather than developing film.<\/p>\n
Software publisher Serif has tips advising parents on how to help children improve their shots<\/p>\n
1. Hold the camera still.<\/strong> It sounds obvious, but it\u2019s a mistake that many of us make, which is why sometimes our pictures can look a little blurry!\u00a0 Make sure your child is holding the camera completely still in order to get a clear shot.<\/p>\n 2. Heads-up. <\/strong>Make sure you\u2019re standing far enough back to get everyone into the shot, or zoom in\/out to avoid chopping their heads off!<\/p>\n 3. Bright light!!<\/strong> The light is your friend, use it carefully and you will achieve some great pictures.\u00a0 Just make sure it\u2019s behind you rather than in front as this may cause over-exposure.<\/p>\n 4. Get creative and clever<\/strong>.\u00a0 Use photo editing software like Serif\u2019s PhotoPlus X3, which allows you to adjust your photo\u2019s colouring, add black and white effects and even do retouching, like adding a suntan or whitening those teeth!<\/p>\n 5.
