Bristol Ferry Boats has stepped into the gap left by Pero’s Bridge after it collapsed out of action<\/a> during a safety test earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company, which has been operating in Bristol for over 50 years, has been unable to access the city centre Cascade Steps stop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To get on and off the service in the city centre, the ferry is now picking people up from the Prince Street Bridge – outside the Arnolfini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ferry company has also set up an additional service whilst the bridge is out of action. Although for many people the additional walk up to the centre and down the other side is not problematic, for people with some disabilities or chronic pain it can be too far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Harbour Hop service has been put in place for \u00a31 per journey, running between 11am and 4pm each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Check out our video below to see where it stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
