Melt the remaining butter in a frying pan and gently fry the leeks for about 5 minutes, until softened.<\/p>\n<p>Put a layer of bread in the base of the baking dish. Scatter half the leeks and cherry tomatoes on top, then sprinkle with half the grated cheese. Arrange the remaining bread triangles over the surface, followed by the rest of the leeks and cherry tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Beat the milk and eggs together and season to taste. Pour evenly over the bread, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Leave to stand for 20-30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Preheat the oven to 190\u00b0C, fan oven 170\u00b0C, Gas Mark 5. Bake the pudding for 30-35 minutes, until puffed-up and golden brown.\u00a0 Serve at once.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/picnic-shot.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8098 aligncenter\" title=\"picnic-shot\" src=\"http:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/picnic-shot.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/picnic-shot.gif 300w, https:\/\/chopsybaby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/picnic-shot-225x300.gif 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The ultimate picnic sandwich<\/strong><br \/>\nMakes 1 sandwich<\/p>\n<p>2 slices of Warburtons Wholegrain Goodness loaf<br \/>\n1 tbsp low-fat cream cheese<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp chopped chives<br \/>\n40g\/1\u00bdoz smoked salmon slices<br \/>\n\u00bdan avocado, peeled and stone<br \/>\nSqueeze of lemon juice<br \/>\n2 cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped<br \/>\n50g\/2oz roasted yellow and red peppers, sliced<br \/>\nPinch of chilli flakes (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Mix the low-fat cream cheese with chopped chives and spread on a slice of Warburtons Wholegrain Goodness, right up to the edges.<\/p>\n<p>Add the slices of smoked salmon, which is full of Omega-3 and great for helping to keep the heart and circulation healthy.<\/p>\n<p>Next, mash half an avocado with a squeeze of lemon juice, chopped tomatoes, peppers and chilli flakes.<\/p>\n<p>Place on top of the salmon (if using two pieces of salmon place one underneath and one on top of avocado filling).<\/p>\n<p>Top with a slice of Warburtons Wholegrain Goodness, spread with low-fat cream cheese with chopped chives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cheddar, Leek and Cherry Tomato Savoury Bread &amp;
