Parents lie about their childs tantrums to look good
Parents won’t admit to other parents that their children have temper tantrums.
According to research by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, 57 per cent of parents lied about the amount of tantrums their child had simply to make them look like better parents.
According to 1,683 UK parents, children between the ages of one and three years spend almost two weeks every year having a tantrum.
The average number of paddys each week equated to 12, lasting around 30 minutes each time.
The most popular method 37 per cent of parents used to snap their children out of tantrums was bribery.
A weak 19 per cent admitted to giving in, letting their child get their own way, with only 11 per cent ignoring the tantrum.
