Still time to take part in the NSPCC’s Letter from Santa fundraising campaign
Parents can still take part in the NSPCC’s Letter from Santa fundraising campaign.
The campaign organises for a child to receive a special letter from Father Christmas for a suggested donation of £5, which will go to the charity.
NSPCC community fundraising manager, Alison Armer, said: “Letter from Santa is a great way to light up a child’s Christmas. The appeal also helps us to raise money to support children who are perhaps not as fortunate. It’s not too late to buy your letter so order one now before Santa starts up his sleigh.
“Our national helplines – including ChildLine – protect children and young people across the UK, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By supporting our Letter from Santa initiative, you are helping to recruit and train more ChildLine counsellors to answer more cries for help.”
To order a Letter from Santa for a child you know, either in the UK or abroad, visit www.nspcc.org.uk/santa or call 0845 839 9304 before December 19.
Alternatively pick up a special order postcard in your local Debenhams, SPAR, Thorntons or Bhs store.
