Parents shop to keep kids happy
If you are the only parent in the supermarket with a paddying child, then be aware of this fact.
A study by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, finds that of 1,127 parent polled, 19 per cent with children five years and under allow their kids to dictate which food they buy.
Whilst you are struggling to control your youngster in the frozen veg aisle, 54 per cent of those parents who let their children dictate their shopping did so for an ‘easy life.
And 17 per cent did so to keep their kids happy.
A 34 per cent of parents said that their children frequently cause a scene whilst shopping, mainly over buying chocolate, fizzy drinks or the child’s preferred branded product.
So while it seems that every other child in the shop is being a little angel but yours, take heart from the fact that you are putting your foot down and not having to give way to a baby tyrant.
