How To… Make a Pirate Map

A simple art activity to do with pirate loving children aged four years and above.

1. Get some thick paper – a roll of backing paper is excellent

2. Cut to required size and shape.

3. Drip a wet tea bag across the paper, break open the tea bag and rub the contents across the paper to create a parchment effect.

4. Wait until dry – approx ten minutes on backing paper

5. Child decorates as much or a little as they like

6. Job done.
