Soothing Baby Salve
The 97 per cent organic Soothing Baby Salve, is certified by the Soil Association and contains Fairtrade certified Shea butter, hemp, calendula and lavender to help reduce inflammation and skin soreness. Ideal for use on hands, feet, body and bottom.

Alice says: “This baby salve feels great on skin and almost seems to have a cooling element to it. Lily has just gone through a phase where all the skin on her body has gone dry and flaky, so this has been fab around her inner elbows and the backs of her knees where her delicate skin rubs more against the fabric of her baby grow.

“It is also great around the bottom line of the baby vest where the nappy can pull in funny directions and cause the vest to rub in the creases of her skin. When it goes a bit red and sore looking I have just dapped a bit of this on last thing at night and by morning time all redness has completely gone.

“It smells lovely. It is very strongly lavender but not in an old-lady way. A little bit also goes a long way so it is cost effective too.

“I have also used it on myself where I have patches of sore skin from the cold or where clothes rub on my skin too.

“I love this.”

Nappy Cream Baby Balm
The 98 per cent organic Nappy Cream Baby Balm has been created for babies with nappy rash, particularly those prone to eczema. Containing Zinc Oxide, Fairtrade Certified Shea Butter, calendula and chamomile, the balm is designed to provide a natural barrier with beeswax and soothe and heal irritated skin.

Alice says: “Lily hasn’t been plagued too much by nappy rash though sometimes I think even the natural wet wipes give her a rash on her bottom, like little red spots. If her skin starts going a bit red looking, I have tried using this baby balm and it does seem to help.

“Also, since she has gone from a milky diet to solids, her poo has changed which seems to make her bum a bit sorer too.

“My niece used to get really terrible nappy rash when she was about eight-months old so I am glad to have this balm on hand should the same thing happen to Lily.

“What is nice is that this is totally natural. I always feel when I use the thicker, white, medical type creams, that though it creates a barrier it stops the skin from breathing.

“Both these products seem to coat and hydrate the skin but still allow air to get to it.

“It doesn’t make the barrier too thick to irritate the skin further.”

“I have caught my husband using this on his hands. He gets sore skin on his hands because he works in the cold with water all day and he says he sneaked some of this to see if it helped. Apparently it does. Nothing’s sacred.”

Best of all…
It’s natural and the lavender smell is fab.
