Bristol runners urged to run for the Stroke Association in this year’s Bristol 10k run
Bristol runners are being urged to sign up for the Bristol 10k Run in aid of the Stroke Association.
The event is in its fourth year, and this year’s run will be taking place on Sunday 15 May 2011.
Money raised from the event will support research in treatment and prevention as well as people who have been affected by stroke.
Spokesperson for The Stroke Association, Stephen Chesworth said: “We still have five Gold Bond places available, at a cost of £27 each, in the Bristol 10K Run if people still need a place. We recommend that Gold Bond place runners raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. We would also really like to hear from any runners who have their own places and want to run for The Stroke Association.”
