Wear the wrong trousers to work this June to help raise money for sick children

It’s the wrong trousers Gromit and they have gone wrong!

Ever popular Wallace and Gromit will be helping to raise money for sick children in hospitals and hospices across the UK through Wrong Trousers Day 2011 donations.

Organisers are urging people in the UK to support the cause by paying £1 to wear the ‘wrong trousers’ to work or school on Friday 24th June 2011.

The first Wrong Trousers Day was held in 2003, and since then, more than £1.6 million has gone towards helping more than 1 million children.

Director of Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation Nicola Masters, says: “Wrong Trousers Day is a really easy and fun way to raise money for charity and a great excuse to bring out your colourful side with friends, family and work colleagues!  We hope that lots of people will support the event and help make a difference to young patients throughout the country.”
