Chopsy Baby is reviewing… Splash About Swimwear
Splash About are well known for their reliable swim nappies, with some baby swim franchises insisting that no other brand is used for their classes.

They have also recently launched a new range of swimwear for boys and girls aged from one to six years of age. The costumes are made from a cool, smooth fabric which offers SPF50+ sun protection.
Splash About are a trusted brand, specialising in swimwear for babies and children. It’s not hard to see why. The Pink Mango swimming costume for girls, featuring bows and a skirt, really is smooth and cool to the touch. It is well constructed and has elastic around the neck, tops of the arms and legs to prevent sagging in the water.
The costume is much prettier in real life than is captured in the photograph. Whilst it is pink and pretty for girls, it is not offensively garish or insipid.
It is easy wash and washes well – hand wash in clean, cold water. This makes it ideal for holidays where washing machines are not an option.
It performs well both at the pool and the beach. A sandy beach – not the grey messy mud flats at Weston Super Mare.
The fabric covering the body offers a maximum SPF50+, which means you won’t have to apply sun cream to the areas it covers, but don’t forget the exposed skin.
There is no point compromising on quality when it comes to swimwear. Good quality swimwear won’t rub, chaff, irritate delicate skin, sag or lose the will to live after it’s been in chlorine a couple of times. For this reason, Splash About make the obvious choice to buy.
