Pay doctors and nurses the highest salaries, children say

Doctors and nurses, soldiers and fire fighters are the three professions primary aged children believe should be the highest paid.

Research by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks found that more than one third of children  between the ages of five and twelve surveyed thought doctors and nurses should take home the biggest pay packets.

Two per cent thought footballers should be paid the most and one per cent said it should be pop stars.
