REVIEW: Chopsy Baby is reviewing…Dear Zoo with interactive sound
Rod Campbell’s classic Dear Zoo, has been re-released with eight interactive sound buttons to bring the animals to life.
The lift-the-flap book about the most irresponsible zoo sending a series of random animals in response to a child’s letter has entertained children for nearly thirty years.
This new version is larger than the original book, making it easy for little hands to hold onto. The buttons are easy to press and the sounds are clear.
At the back of the book is an additional interactive game allowing children to guess animals from clues and match them up with sounds.
Emma Dearling read the book with her two-year-old daughter Faith.
Emma says: “Faith loved the original book with the flaps, so this book just extends the fun for her. She loves finding and copying the sounds. This would have been a lovely Christmas present for her.”
