Chopsy Baby Says: A diverse and classic top toy for early years children.

The DUPLO LEGOville Police Station is the crown in the collection of DUPLO sets available to youngsters this Christmas.

The set includes a police station that can be constructed in two different ways, a motor bike, helicopter, police car with sounds and light siren, two policemen and a robber.

Cops and Robbers, Goodies and Baddies. There is a point during the early years – around the age of four – that these distinctions are made. How better to play out the dramas than with this fantastic DUPLO Police Station. This set – with an RRP of £49.99 – is the absolute daddy of the toy shop small world meets construction play. It comes with the usual quality you would expect from the LEGO brand and packed with pieces.

“HELLO. I’M ON THE PHONE. CIAO”

The bright, eye catching box shows the scenes you can make and contents to be played with. Though many will opt for this as a toy for the boys, there is nothing here that really marks the gender divide and is suitable for girls too.

This is one of those brilliant toys that literally does exactly what it says on the box. You won’t feel short changed from the amount of play value and time this toy can produce.

The age recommendation by LEGO for this set is two – five years. Of course in a family setting, young children will enjoy joining in where appropriate.

The station is easy to construct – once the simpleton worked out the instructions.

And as an added bonus, the police car flashes and sounds a siren.

Chopsy Baby’s Jon says: “The hours my four-year-old son spent staging jail breaks and chasing the robber around the living room floor was amazing. My two-year-old daughter was every bit as enthused by the toy as she pushed the police car around making siren sounds.”
