Chopsy Baby is reviewing… Wilkinson Play!
Chopsy Baby says: Wilkinson sells great toys at purse friendly prices for all ages.
Stack ‘n’ Nest Cups
These round stackable cups, though recommended for children aged one, are ideal from around six months.
The brightly couloured plastic cups with shapes underneath are sturdy, stack well and have holes in the bottom – great for additional play in the bath.
Asha Harvey and nine-month-old Chantal tested out the Stack ‘n’ Nest Cups.
Asha says: “Chantal loved these. I didn’t see the point of stacking cups. I thought they were old fashioned. But Chantal proved me wrong examining each cup carefully before testing which order to put them in.”
My First Keyboard
This keyboard is fantastic fun for little ones. There are a surprising number of features on the toy. 24 keys, six demo songs, four rhythms, four musical instrument sounds, four large easy push animals with sounds, drum sounds and adjustable volume and tempo.
Jamie Davies and three-year-old Oliver tested out My First Keyboard.
Jamie says: “Oliver has not stopped playing with this keyboard. I thought it would be tacky and badly made. But it’s great and stands the heavy handedness of Oliver.”
Officially, the toy is not suitable for children under the age of three years due to the standard ‘choking hazard’ but in a safe, supervised environment, little ones will love this too.
Dinosaur Medley
This set of dinosaurs may not look that exciting, but our four-year-old child tester – boy – adored playing with these monsters. Even with a coat in chilly weather, the dinosaurs were digging holes in the flower beds and making homes in the branches of a joyless Buddleia.
Lizzie Harrison and four-year-old Tommy tested out the Dinosaur Medley.
Lizzie says: “Tommy plays with these dinosaurs and hides them everywhere. I would never have thought of buying something this simple. Goes to show how wrong I can be about my own son.”
