Quality time with the family tops children’s Christmas list

Quality time with mum, dad and grandma is on the Christmas list of 40 per cent of UK children.

Rather than a full stocking of presents, children are eager for simple family time together finds research from Butlins.

A 26 per cent are also hoping that they will get to visit other members of the family that they don’t often see.

Butlins official Director of Happiness, Mark Hunter, says: “Seeing mum and dad work hard throughout the year, and not being able to spend as much time with them as they’d like, is prompting kids to think about the bigger picture.  Of course they are looking forward to Santa’s arrival, but they are also hoping for quality family time – the chance to reconnect and enjoy each others company.”
