What is it?
Katy’s Wild Foal and Katy’s Champion Pony are the first two books in a new series written for horse loving children.

They are written by Exmoor Pony farmer and author Victoria Eveleigh.

Katy discovers a tiny newborn foal on the moor. She longs to keep the foal but must persuade her family first. When foal Trifle becomes a pony, Katy is determined to make the animal behave itself and become a champion.

Cheryl says: “Mel is one of those girls who is absolutely horse mad. I’m not sure why as there is nowhere we will ever be able to keep one in Easton. She loved these two stories and really related to the character of Katy.

“At bedtime we read a couple of chapters a night and quickly moved on to the second book.

“We both enjoyed the books and will look forward to the third one coming out later in the year.”

Lovely stories about the special relationship between a foal and determined young girl.
