Women less likely to see GP about embarrassing health conditions than men

Women are less likely to seek medical treatment about embarrassing health conditions than men.

According to research by Oceana Therapeutics, 41 per cent of men will go to their GP for health information compared to 23 per cent of women.

Bladder issues and incontinence was found to be the most embarrassing condition according to a third of the 1,000 people questioned.
