Chopsy Baby is reviewing… Easter eggs and seasonal chocolate from Aldi

Chopsy Baby Says: “Budget doesn’t mean bad. This range is eggcellent.”

Rating: 10/10

Budget supermarket Aldi, has a brilliant range of chocolate treats at very purse friendly prices.

Choceur Flame Egg
350g
£2.99

A large nutty tasting chocolate egg with a selection of lovely milk and white chocolates in the centre. This egg is great for young people and adults. It is attractively presented with good quality chocolate.

Dairyfine Milk Chocolate Eggs
180g
£1.29

Individually wrapped milk chocolate mini eggs with strawberry or milk cream centres. The milk cream centred eggs won’t last five minutes in most mums’ hands. These cheap chocolates are something special to taste.

Choceur Marzipan Egg
100g
69p

A hand sized milk chocolate egg with a marzipan centre that tastes so much better than it sounds. The marzipan is soft with a subtle taste. Forget the overwhelming flavour of Battenberg, this egg is a great goer with coffee.

Dairyfine Mini Bunnies
59p

A net of individually wrapped chocolate bunnies will always be a winner. Just about the right size for toddlers too. These bunnies are great for adding to egg hunts. And keeping in bags for bribes.

Choceur Marzipan Mini Eggs
200g
£1.49

The small marzipan eggs with a dark chocolate shell are a smaller version of the larger one and come in half pieces. Great to give mums while youngsters are busy playing.

Choceur Filled Mini Egg
280g
£1.80

Mini eggs with a flavoured centre – almond, cocoa mousse, hazelnut, strawberry or vanilla. If parents must share their chocolate with children this would be a good one to compromise on. The centres are full of flavour and are soft but not runny. It will be easier for them to eat rather than solid chocolate eggs of the same size.

Choceur Choclate Bunny
120g
99p

There’s no prizes for guessing who this hollow chocolate bunny looks related to. This is nice chocolate. It is not dissimilar to the Lindt bunny though a couple of steps away in taste.

Dairyfine Beanie Bunny
100g
99p

Great for this kids, this hollow milk chocolate bunny really is filled with chocolate beanies. The chocolate isn’t as nice as the Choceur Chocolate Bunny, but kids won’t notice and it’s no where near the depths of cheap chocolate.

Best of all…
Some great chocolate at good prices.

Could improve
Not a thing.

Basically…
