BRT2 Transport scheme for Bristol harbourside will ruin cultural heritage
Part of Bristol’s unique cultural heritage is at risk with a £49m transport scheme proposed to take over the harbourside.
A new bus service is proposed to run along guided tracks – some of them replacing the harbourside steam train track.
The route will run between Long Ashton Park and Ride and the city centre – conveniently passing by the location for the new Bristol City stadium.
A collection of local community groups in Bristol, as well as concerned residents have taken action to stop the new transport scheme from going ahead.
The StopBRT2 have launched a website and are calling on Bristol residents to get involved supporting their campaign.
