Tired parents drive their babies more than 1,000 miles to get them to sleep

Sleep deprived parents are driving themselves round the bend trying to settle their crying baby back to sleep.

Responding to a survey by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, 53 per cent of parents said their drove their baby around in a car to try and get them to sleep.

Around 69 per cent of these parents said they drove an average of 6 miles until their baby was sleeping, with 53 per cent doing this 3 times a week or more.

Parents said they ended up dooming themselves to this routine for around 18 months, leaving the average carer driving 1,404 miles during this time.
